Lambright flooring has been serving Michigan for over 45 years and has existed during that time as a family run organization. In 1964 Jess Lambright started Jess Lambright Carpets. His primary focus was on installation, but he did find time to sell small amounts of carpet as well. To help him in this endeavor he enlisted the help of his three sons, Chris, Dave, and Kim. The family worked together for over 20 years. In 1988 Dave Lambright, with the aide of his wife Ellen, decided to take over the family business as a part time venture. He shortened the name of the company to Lambright Carpets. Under his command the company expanded to include the sales of Carpet and Vinyl flooring for retail projects. During these years the business continued to be a family affair. Vacations were taken to Dalton, Georgia - the Carpet Capitol of the World - to meet with carpet representatives and further business contacts. The kids took turns traveling with their father to show carpet or bid a job at someone's home. Everyone in the family was involved in the organizational process. In 2004 Reid Lambright decided it was his turn to take over at the helm. As a young child, Reid was working on carpet jobs as soon as he could walk. If there was a tool to be handed over, he was the boy for the job. Reid brought with him many new changes. Throughout the last 5 years he has worked hard to expand the company to encompass many new arenas. The business now offers services in residential as well as commercial flooring and can manage projects from 100 square feet to 30,000. Some of the services offered are Carpet Sales and Installation, Custom Ceramic Tile Installation, Ceramic Backsplashes, Ceramic Showers, Concrete Polishing, Hard Wood Flooring, Custom Wood Floor Installation, Wood Floor Refinishing, Laminate, Area Rugs, Cork, Vinyl, and Mosaics. As a result of the growing realm of the business, Reid decided to change the name of the organization one last time. Today the company is known as Lambright Flooring. As the new owner Reid has managed to keep the family tradition going. Recently Dave was convinced to come out of retirement to assume the position of President of Finances for Lambright Flooring. Reid's brother Ryan also works part-time and will join the company full-time when he graduates from college. Lambright Flooring has made the commitment to provide quality service in every aspect of the company. For this reason, we do not employ outside contractors, or anyone who is not trustworthy. If we would not trust someone coming into our home, then we would not send them to your home or business. For three generations Lambright Flooring has been proudly serving Michigan.
